.conf is Splunk’s premier education and thought leadership event for thousands of IT, security and business professionals looking to turn data into action.

.conf19 will be held at the Venetian Sands Expo in Las Vegas.

.conf19 will be held October 21-24, 2019, with Splunk University happening the three days prior from October 19-21, 2019.


Early bird registration, ending June 20, 2019, is $1,595. Discounts are available for alumni, partners and others. Please visit our pricing page for details or to register.

The cost to attend one day of Splunk University is $850, two days is $1,500 and three days is $2,000. The cost of attendance at Splunk University is not included in your .conf registration fee. To help your boss understand the importance of sending you to .conf19, we’ve put together a justification letter for you to use. SplunkLive! events are regional one-day meetups that serve primarily as an introduction to Splunk, while .conf19 delivers three full days of best practices, customer sessions detailing how Splunk software has helped support their organization, and expert insights into how to better understand and leverage your data.

You’ll learn about practical applications of Splunk across deployments of all sizes, environments, industries and use cases.

It's your opportunity to roll up your sleeves and dive into the product. “Ask the Experts” meetings give you the chance to sit down with Splunk experts to solve your problems and strategize the best way to use Splunk in your environment. Get hands-on demos of the latest and greatest from across the Splunkbase ecosystem in the Splunk Apps Showcase. In short, .conf is the best place to understand how to make the most of your Splunk investment.

There will be over 300 technical breakout sessions covering areas across IT operations, application management and development, security and compliance, big data, IoT, business analytics and more. We’re currently evaluating session submissions for .conf19 and anticipate publishing the list of selected sessions and an agenda builder in July.

Days One and Two keynote sessions will be live streamed, and the recordings will be available shortly after. We’ll also record audio with slides for the majority of the breakout sessions. Yes. Complimentary high-speed wireless internet access is available throughout all .conf19 meeting space.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be served Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The Welcome Soiree on Monday night and Hall Crawl on Tuesday night will feature drinks and light appetizers. The Search Party! on Wednesday evening will feature heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks.

Casual attire is appropriate for the week. (What better place to show off your favorite Splunk T-shirt?) Remember to bring comfortable shoes and a sweater or sweatshirt in case of cool weather and air-conditioned rooms.
